Noobs For Ever

ti is amazing how many Noobs there are on wormnet. Like 90 percent of all people joining my Normal No Noobs games are complete NooBs that cant do anything more complicated then shooting BnG or placing dyna in first turn even though there is no way to kill it.

I ask them stuff like what does NNN mean and they asnwer LoL why would i know. That wont proofe im a noob(LoL) then in game they play like it was their first game,
There must be a way to get ridd of this NooBplauge. Maybe letting Cybershaddow getting full control over a Pro server.

The adress to this server wil lbe on all worm sites. Every1 but Noobs will use them.Noobs wont even know about site.

How to get ridd of noob pest ? I am annoyed all ready. They are like 60 percent of all AG players. Some few Normal players and the rest is basicly Ropers.

1st acually i won nthe first 2 online worms game i played playing better then many NooBs . Im annoyed by the fact that they show dissrespect joining my NNN games(NormalNonoobs) yes they cant help that the ycant play(or maybe practice offline first) but they can still read huh ?

PS i have the perfect salluiton. howabout making a Wormapedia site. Were we have alot of Schemes=rules links and explain moves and tricks so ech time we haveto play with them we can give em link and quitt.

Omg. How to explain you that most of people just want to have fun while playing game! They don't want being pros, they just don't need that. 90% of "noobs" will piss your link off and never visit it. They'll think smth like "faggot arrogant pro" and just join another game after your quitting.

Look at BigBilly's reply once again. He has great point, exactly what you need.

I think get a grip would be better personally The reason they might be pissing all over the name of your game is
1) most pros don't read either (there's just no point in denying this, it's true.)
2) the name of your game is just you pissing all over them anyway.

Play with them and goof around in the name of something I like to call "fun"

You may have more knowledge and/or experience in playing these games, but you are in no way any better or more important than anyone else on WormNet! You have absolutely no power over anyone else and you definitely do not have the right to dictate how people should play!

Bytor is absolute special kind of player. His experience is huge, and his skills are fantastic. He dislikes to spend his time on playing with weak players without any effort. He's also bit impulsive (remember white flags and devastating lightside), so "noobs" usually piss him off.

I do know what DoubleTime is talking about, but he is overreacting and generalising somewhat. Someone whose favourite scheme is WxW would be thrilled at the state WormNet is in right now, with all these new people trying it and loving it every day. However, just because Intermediate isn't as popular anymore doesn't mean good players, even less experienced ones, don't exist. A significant portion of them are in fact willing to learn if you treat them with some respect and never forget about the fun aspect of the game when showing them around. That's how I've always done it when I had the time. It worked and continues to work, for Intermediate as well as BnG, Elite, Team17 and roping.

Also, Bytor is an arse. He's no less ignorant than the newbies he shouts abuse at; he often gets things wrong and insults people who have played the game for even longer than he has, and not just one scheme. Not to mention their understanding for the community, which he clearly lacks. Now that's experience. [Disclaimer: While I guess it's possible I've never actually met Bytor and base my opinion of him solely on games played with his impostors over the years, it does seem unlikely; I have elaborate bullshit detection mechanisms and am a proud member of the alias police. Also, isn't the fact that NNN members get impostored so often and with such vile intentions a sign that their overall attitude could use improving? Feels that way to me sometimes, but that's material for another thread.]

MarcOne brings up a point as well. Calling a game "NormalNoNoobs" is not only slightly insulting towards everyone that's about to join it, it also has the word "Noobs" in it. People whose English isn't too great might well join it thinking the name was an invitation for newbies. How about you start calling your games just... Intermediate? That explains what scheme is being played a lot better, I feel.

A debate would include some reasonable argument on this subject. I can and do understand where an annoyance in these situations could occur, but it is the mindless lack of respect that DT very immodestly displays towards people that is what I cannot stand. You simply have to read some of the statements he has made in this thread, or any of the unneccesary abuse he shouts in #AG to see how disrespectful he is.

Actually yes, this is exactly the kind of treatment he deserves. And haven't you always been one to encourage shunning people with extremely narrow-minded and counter-productive attitudes like this? it is hard to show them respect since they dont show you respect. I have been very NooB friendly. I linked em to helpfull sites teached them some schemes/moves

Its not like Bytor is alone with high skills. THere are several pros on normal (including me) that are good enoufh to host NormalNoNoob games or join NormalProsOnly games.

The reseon to why i am less NooB tollerant know is case i want to play with players that are atleast 60 percent my skill level or plus. To grow.

(pst) yes i do make announcesments sometimes in ag like 99 percent of all Players in ag are noobs or some evil stuff towards boring schemes. But it is often case im kinda tired of Less skiled players joining my games,

I once joined a NormalProsOnly game hosted by Bytor. We played and somewhere in the middle of the game he said: "Not much of a challenge, but not a complete waste of time either".
It was my 2nd intermediate game ever and i would beat him in one round if he wouldn't had luck with napalm. Don't ever underestimate a noob!
