I HAVE HAD ENOUGH

Why am I the victim of unoffical tourneys? First, Komo starts advertising for an unoffical (at that time) BnG tourney, when I was going to mod a Tower Race Tourney. Now, there's a guy who's advertising for an Elite Tourney tommorow: When I said I was going to mod the WxW Tourney yesterday. Well, I've had ENOUGH OF IT!!!!!

DARKMAUL/R1OT3R, I want a statement so that when someone wants to a mod a tourney, they MUST check the TuT calendar before advertising, or they risk being BANNED FROM TUT FOR A MONTH!

Anyone with me?

Well yeah I agree that it can be annoying. But I'm not sure if it's a good idea to ban someone from TuT when they're not even announcing their tourney on TuT.
Also the FNI tourneys are somewhat annoying because you can't really tell when they're going to pop up.
Anyway, you can't really stop these things from happening because there's no such thing as true official tourneys (= organised by Team17 etc.).

Ok shirdel now you listen, we can't do anything for non tut members..
And anyway , when you host a tourney you just post about it here and you never announce it in #ag so most of the time it's empty like last week 4-5 people in your tower race tourney. I could agree with your angryness if at least you made some efforts to announce it , but no , so..

Perhaps something about announcing in AG should be added to the tips-for-hosting-tourneys thread?

well, if it's a good consolation: Komo has regular times at which he hosts now and FnI hosts 4 tourneys per day, according to the guy I talked to.

Shirdel, i already apologised for the 1st tournament i hosted when it ran into yours, but in all due respect, anyone can host a tournament if they want, its a game, and you dont own it, if your not respected enough and can't organise a tournament people want to play, that is NOT my fault, When i host my bng tournaments i wouldnt be bothered if someone else, or maybe even 2 other tournaments were going on at the same time, if i ended up with no one playing my tournament for 1 week, so what? i can do other things, worms is not my life, well not anymore lol.

And that random tournament is actually the 1st & ONLY time ive EVER decided to just host a random tournament on WA, and ive been playing this game for over 9 years...
