Might I propose an anti-fort rule?
People are not allowed to use the same weapon box more than 3 times in a row or something like that.

Also, FFie made a scheme with only 3 worm selects, so people won't abuse one worm select box during the entire match (very unfair advantage then, because that would make the first person to place able to take possession of a worm select and then thrash their opponent)

I totally agree with that rule - FFie's scheme is it uploaded somewhere?

Since we are playing with manuell placement 3 worms it is the players fault if something like that happends. It isnt a good idea to have 3 max rules. Simply make sure it is a good map so you cant darkside without risking to get hurt =D

OR we can use a random scheme with 6 worms instead. then you cant take possesions of a wormselect.

in My map most of the wormselect means putting youre worm in a place for easy plop. =D

Since most maps are not good, I'll just go ahead and disagree with you here If there's a block that has more attacking potential than others, then scared players will take possession of it and just keep lobbing whatever weapon is there all over the map.
If his opponent is not so smart, he'll try to take over that weapon box (which will not succeed if he has equal/more worms) and if he's smart, he'll just wait in a far-off place until the scared player moves.

If neither budges, the game goes on and on and on... I've seen it happen in a WFW tourney. 3am and people play fort :O took them an hour and they weren't even finished then! crash!

eh? I have no idea what you are on abot here. Rules will be announced in good time

Thats why my map should be played =D all the super usefull weopens are in poses were it is very easy to get killed =D(go to wmdb.org and get it right away ! My first completed PNG map ever)

We can allways play 5 or 6 worms without manuell placement. You are very unlikely to lose more then 1 worm first turn
