The Ultimate Tourney - Site uploader

I have set up somewhere where you can store your files for schemes, maps, etc, without using something like rapidshare. It is based on my web server, which is "fast".

If you honestly want to store your files on it as well (i.e. a word document), then you are welcome to. Just don't abuse the service.

OK MAJOR PROBLEM

Due to some file in the upload system, Synced have suspended my hosting account, and now risks being deleted. I state here I am not happy!

Now can I make clear that any uploads do NOT contain any copyright content, i.e. software, illegally downloaded music, etc. I do not wish to be done in for someone else's fault.

When the upload system is restored, I will be tightening the files allowed to be uploaded, namely on WA files will be allowed, including BIT, WSC, PNG, BMP, WAGAME, and ZIP will be allowed, though the content will be monitored.

Sorry it had to come to this, I am not saying it was anyone here, it could have been but I do not know.

OK it is back up, and files that can be uploaded are limited, but still usable, e.g. Excel files and that.

limited? u mean in overall? or we have to register and every member has the same amount of uploads? cus that would be the justice.

Well I dont really want to put a login system on it. If people can be responsible with it then I wont go complaining.

If you need a public uploader, which will not mind what content is uploaded - i.just-owns.eu (though be careful whats on there - I moderate it as well)

by open upload i mean that every1 who visits can upload specified files

is this connected with synced.org or they just provide u webspace?

It's a php script which you can use on any webspace supporting php.

OK Just to make sure my arse is not kicked hard, please CLICK every now and then some adverts. This pays for the server hosting DIRECTLY - I get nothing.

So I just click on them then instantly click off of them before it installs a spam program that gives me 1,000 pop-ups when I go on the Internet () right?

May I ask where these adverts are hiding? I was about to contribute some finger action, but found nothing

Ads will still be there. Vandral, my side of the argument for ads is to PAY FOR THE FREE HOSTING. Hosting is never free. Either I get the benefits and use ads, or no ads, and limited use.

This is happening as I am organizing my hosting accounts, as they are a bit over the place.
